Summary
The post holder will: Facilitate the delivery of specific areas of safeguarding education and training to various staff groups at various sites across the Trust, ensuring compliance with Trust policy and procedure, and promoting a Think Family approach; Contribute to the design, planning, co-ordination, and delivery of a broad range of safeguarding education and training that is responsive to clinical and organisational need, using a variety of resources and training methods; Contribute to the analysis of training provided and its impact, to support the ongoing development of the Trustwide Safeguarding Training Programme; Support a system to ensure that all staff have access to learning and development which is necessary and relevant to the job role they are undertaking; Communicate highly complex and highly sensitive information in an understandable format which encourages buy-in, motivates and supports learning to encourage effective safeguarding practice. Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment. You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. An annual fee of £16 per year applies.
