Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to recruit a suitably qualified teacher who can support the delivery of Science as a Physics specialist, who can also support the delivery of our Engineering specialism, you will work alongside the staff team to further develop a centre of excellence focusing on Engineering & Manufacturing along with Health & Life Sciences. Under the direction of the Curriculum Director, you will support the delivery of a range of qualifications. These include Combined and Triple Sciences at KS4 and A-Level Physics, the ability to also support aspects of the Engineering specialism which includes Cambridge National L2 Certificates in Engineering Manufacture, Engineering Design or Systems and Control along with BTEC L3 Engineering at Post-16 would be an advantage.
You will be a highly skilled practitioner who understands the challenges of educating 13–19-year-olds in an employer-led technology-rich environment. Effective partnership working is absolutely critical to the UTC’s success. We also welcome applications from newly qualified teachers who have the skills and attributes to develop their expertise within our unique environment.
