What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to find a motivated, enthusiastic and inspirational teacher for the Science Department to join our dedicated team. The Science Department at West Park School consists of a fantastic team of teachers and support staff, all of whom are committed to providing the very best opportunities for all pupils. We aim to foster a love of science and a sense of wonder at the world around us, through engaging and innovative lessons and feedback. We want all pupils to be proficient across the sciences and to develop enquiry skills that will stay with them for life.
The successful candidate will relish working as part of a team but also be keen to enhance their own pedagogical skills and practice independently. We are open to applications from all science specialisms, but do expect all members of the department to be comfortable in teaching Biology, Chemistry and Physics to GCSE level.
