This is an exciting opportunity for a strong Room Leader or existing Third in Charge who’s ready to grow their career and make a real impact in a nurturing, forward-thinking environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent).
- Experience as a Room Leader or Third in Charge in a nursery setting.
- Confident understanding of safeguarding, the EYFS, child development, and best practice.
- Ability to support staff, model excellent childcare, and uphold high standards.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, collaborative approach.
- Someone who thrives in a hands-on role within a lively, supportive team.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the leadership team as part of the senior structure within the nursery.
- Lead your room with confidence, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment.
- Oversee planning, observations, and assessments in line with the EYFS.
- Guide and mentor staff, providing support, training, and encouragement.
- Build strong relationships with children and families, promoting trust and communication.
- Help ensure the smooth running of daily operations across the setting when required.
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health & safety, and inclusive practice.
