The academy is looking to take on a full-time Special Educational Needs and Difficulties Learning Support Assistant for a long-term period who can provide 1 to 1 support for individual children with learning disabilities. The successful applicant will have the skills to listen and understand the child’s needs to help them develop their learning.
The successful SEND Learning Support Assistant will have:
• A Level 2 or 3 qualification (Education/Childcare/SEND)
• First Aid Qualification (preferred)
• A caring approach and patience towards each child
• Able to manage challenging behaviours
• A passion to make a positive difference to every child’s development
• Previous experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Difficulties
• Personal Care experience
