Summary

We're looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our team, based in London and Thames Valley.



Location: London and Thames Valley.

Hours: 40 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.



We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.



What will you be responsible for?

As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within our talented London and Thames Valley team. You'll play a key role in managing costs, maximising value, and ensuring quality and safety across a range of projects.

Your day to day will include:

-Managing commercial resources for assigned projects to maximise planned gross margin,

-Providing expertise in valuations, claims, budget monitoring, and performance reporting,

-Assessing and mitigating commercial and contractual risks, in line with Kier policies,

-Authorising and overseeing project variations, contracts, and material orders.



What are we looking for?

This role of Quantity Surveyor is great for you if you have:

-A Degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent experience),

-Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry, a background with a Tier 1 Main Contractor is highly desirable,

-The ability to understand and respond to contract issues,

-Strong IT proficiency, especially in MS Excel and other MS Office tools,

-Full Driving Licence.
