Summary
JOB SUMMARY
As a Reviewing Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring that the support we provide through Caithness Support Services is effective, person-centred, and continuously improving. Reporting to the Community Services Manager, you will work closely with service users, their families, colleagues, and external agencies to review and shape individual support plans.
Key responsibilities include:
- Scheduling and carrying out regular reviews with service users, families, and staff to ensure support remains relevant and effective.
- Updating care plans and risk assessments to reflect agreed changes and ensure compliance with Care Inspectorate standards.
- Promoting active participation from service users, families, and staff in the reviewing process, ensuring everyone’s voice is heard.
- Identifying unmet needs and liaising with other agencies to agree appropriate changes that maximise independence and quality of life.
- Supporting the development of local service user groups, encouraging meaningful involvement in activities and service improvements.
- Communicating review outcomes to staff teams to ensure consistent, high-quality support delivery.
