You'll be expected to keep supervisors and the subcontractor coordinator updated on progress, support safe working practices, record activities via IT systems, and contribute to a high standard of customer service across the estate. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and confidence using technology for task updates are essential.

Main Duties

-Support subcontractor operations by carrying out safety inspections on ongoing works and reporting any concerns or deviations promptly.

-Provide key updates to supervisors and the subcontractor coordinator regarding progress, risks, delays and completed activities.

-Assist other trades (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fabric) with safe access and routine tasks when required.

-Assist with stock management, ensuring consumables are replenished and stored correctly.

-Maintain high standards of safety, following site procedures, permits and health & safety requirements at all times.

-Flexibility to work out of hours and at weekends as required.

-Experience in building maintenance, site support, or a similar practical role.

-Strong understanding of health and safety requirements within a maintenance or building environment.

-A proactive approach to supporting maintenance operations and ensuring safe working practices.

-Experience using PDA or IT-based systems for reporting and task completion.

-Must have full UK driving licence.

-Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

-A commitment to excellent customer service, ensuring building users and stakeholders receive timely, accurate updates.
