Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Primary Schools in Manchester
Location: Manchester

Are you an experienced HLTA with a passion for supporting teaching and learning in primary education? We are currently seeking qualified HLTAs with at least 1 year of experience in a UK primary school setting to join our trusted team working with schools across Manchester.

TeacherActive is proud to work with a network of primary schools who are looking for capable and confident HLTAs to lead whole-class sessions, deliver interventions, and provide high-quality classroom support across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • HLTA status or equivalent qualification


  • A minimum of 1 year of UK primary school experience


  • Confidence covering planned lessons in the absence of the teacher


  • A flexible, organised, and professional approach


  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills


  • Experience supporting pupils with SEND and/or delivering small group interventions is a bonus
