Summary

This is a rare opportunity; we are looking to recruit to the post of Safeguarding Partnership Business Manager in Darlington.

We are looking to appoint an experienced professional to drive forward the work of the Darlington Safeguarding Partnership (Adults and Children).

andnbsp;

This role is pivotal in ensuring that the work of the Partnership improves the lives of children and adults at risk

andnbsp;

The role includes: andnbsp;

andnbsp;Establishing governance and interface arrangements within Darlington Safeguarding Partnership andnbsp;(DSP)
Establishing links and reporting to other multi-agency partnerships / boards e.g. Community Safety Partnership, Health and Well-being Board.
Developing andnbsp;multi-agency liaison and collaboration and ensure compliance with the Partnershipandrsquo;s Governance arrangements
Line management responsibility for the staff within the Darlington Safeguarding Partnershipandrsquo;s Business Unit.andnbsp;

u Candidate /u

andnbsp;

You will have either a relevant qualification in either Social Work, Nursing, Teaching, Youth Work (or equivalent) with 5 years post qualifying experience and professional background working within safeguarding (adults and / or children), OR 5 years direct experience of working with child and / or adult safeguarding boards.

andnbsp;

You will possess excellent organisational, interpersonal and leadership skills to develop and sustain effective relationships with key stakeholders.

andnbsp;

You will need to have experience of both managing projects and developing practice.



You will take the lead in overseeing the reporting framework, including an annual report which is presented to the Partnership and Scrutiny Panels.

The post is classed as a blended working role, which consists of a mix of office and home-based working arrangements.
