Customer Services Supervisor - Front of House
Assembly Rooms

Salary: £26,337-£28,835 (pro-rata for part time)
Hours: 0 per week - casual contract

Be the calm, confident lead on the front line of live events.

We're looking for a confident, organised Front of House Supervisor to join our events team across the Assembly Rooms and Church Hill Theatre.

You don't need years of experience, but you do need great communication, a calm head and the confidence to support a team during busy events. You'll help run the front of house operation at everything from sold out comedy and live music to weddings, conferences, festivals and community productions.

One shift you might be briefing the team and managing ticket checks, the next you could be overseeing ushers in a full auditorium or supporting the bar and cloakroom to keep things moving.

Shifts are varied and flexible, making this a great step up for someone with some customer service or event experience who's ready for more responsibility.

Full training is provided and you'll build solid experience in team leadership, audience management and event delivery in two of Edinburgh's busiest cultural venues.

If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.

We're committed to creating a workplace culture where all our people feel valued, included and able to be their best at work, and we recognise the benefits that a diverse workforce with different values, beliefs, experience, and backgrounds brings to us as an organisation.

As part of our goal to improve our organisational culture and create a great place to work together for the people of Edinburgh, we want to make sure that we're bringing the best people into our roles, not just in their skills and experience but also in their approach to work.

To help achieve this, we're changing the way we interview and assess candidates by moving from a competency-based interview approach to a behavioural and technical (skills for the job) based approach. This new way of interviewing will allow us to assess how you think and how you would bring Our Behaviours of Respect, Integrity and Flexibility into your ways of working.

You can find out more on Our Behaviours web page Our">https://www.edinburgh.gov.uk/work-us/behaviours">Our Behaviours - The City of Edinburgh Council

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.

Happy to talk flexible working.
