Salary: £26,337 - £28,835 (pro-rata for part time)
Hours: 0 per week - casual contract
Ready for more responsibility? Step into supervising bars at two iconic venues.
We're looking for a confident, organised Bar Supervisor to join our events crew across the Assembly Rooms and Church Hill Theatre. You don't need years of experience, but you do need a calm head, great communication and the confidence to lead a small team during busy events.
You'll help run bars at everything from comedy nights and live music to weddings, festivals, awards nights and private hires. One shift might be managing stock and setting up bars, the next could be overseeing service during a packed interval or supporting the wider front of house team to keep the event flowing.
Shifts are varied and flexible, which makes this a great step up for someone with some bar experience who's ready for a bit more responsibility.
Full training is provided and you'll build real experience in team leadership, event bars and working in two of Edinburgh's busiest cultural venues.
If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
We're committed to creating a workplace culture where all our people feel valued, included and able to be their best at work, and we recognise the benefits that a diverse workforce with different values, beliefs, experience, and backgrounds brings to us as an organisation.
As part of our goal to improve our organisational culture and create a great place to work together for the people of Edinburgh, we want to make sure that we're bringing the best people into our roles, not just in their skills and experience but also in their approach to work.
To help achieve this, we're changing the way we interview and assess candidates by moving from a competency-based interview approach to a behavioural and technical (skills for the job) based approach. This new way of interviewing will allow us to assess how you think and how you would bring Our Behaviours of Respect, Integrity and Flexibility into your ways of working.
