You will be working for a reputable legal firm known for delivering exceptional client service and innovative legal solutions. The team is expanding, and they are seeking a dynamic Business Development Executive to help drive growth and strengthen their market presence. We offer a comprehensive range of legal services and have offices across the North, with deep roots in Lancashire.
Your new role
As a Business Development Executive, you will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and supporting strategic initiatives to enhance the firm's profile. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual with a passion for professional services and a strong commercial mindset.
Duties and responsibilities will include -
- Develop and implement business development strategies to attract new clients and grow existing relationships.
- Supporting with strategic business development plans for the Commercial Division, ensuring a detailed understanding of what all departments do
- Researching potential new targets and opportunities to help drive growth across the Commercial Division, linked to ideal target profiles to support in winning 3 significant new clients per commercial division team each year;
- Producing proposals and capability documents to support the winning of new clients/ retention of existing clients;
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Collaborate with partners and fee earners to create targeted marketing campaigns and proposals.
- Manage the firm's CRM system and track business development activities.
- Attend networking events, conferences, and client meetings to promote the firm's services.
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on business development performance.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in this role, you will have previous experience in a Business Development led role and ideally, will have worked within a professional services environment. You must have a keen eye for detail and be adept at dealing with both internal and external stakeholders. You will always be tenacious in your approach and have the ability to nurture long-standing relationships.

The salary on offer is up to £32k depending on experience. The role will be based on site in Preston on a full-time basis in state-of-the-art office space with free parking on site.
