About Thrive at Home
We’re growing — and we need more amazing people to join our core team!
Empower Support’s Thrive at Home is a new, recovery-focused community service offering mental health support to people in their own homes across Swansea and Neath Port Talbot.
We’re not your typical domiciliary care provider. Our approach is individualised, holistic, and empowering — helping people with mental health challenges to live fulfilling, independent lives in the community, not hospitals.
Our vision is simple:
Everyone deserves to be their best self and live their best life.
Empower Support is owned and led by registered mental health nurses with extensive NHS experience. We’re passionate about high-quality, person-centred care and a positive, supportive working culture where our staff are valued, trusted, and developed.
Your Role
As a Mental Health Recovery Worker, you’ll provide tailored, recovery-focused support to adults with mental illness in their homes and communities.
You’ll help people build confidence, connect with others, and achieve their personal goals — all while promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing.
Zero to minimal personal care involved.
Key Responsibilities:
Promote wellbeing, independence, and recovery
Support daily living and healthy lifestyle choices
Help people engage in hobbies, education, or work
Encourage community involvement and social connection
Support attendance at appointments and local activities
Monitor and record changes in mental or physical health
Administer medication (training provided)
You’ll also help deliver community outreach and social groups in Swansea and Neath Port Talbot — supporting inclusion, connection, and positive mental health.
Hours & Flexibility
Shift patterns are flexible and tailored to individual support packages.
Typical hours fall between 7am – 9pm, seven days a week.
We’ll work with you to find the right balance for your lifestyle.
