Summary

Job Description

To provide a range of services within the nominated facilities. This post requires conscientiousness, high standards and a clear understanding of the importance of all aspects of facility cleanliness and associated hygiene requirements.

Requirements

Under the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020, the successful candidate will be required to undertake a Disclosure Check.

Responsibilities

As key holder of the Pavilions, you will be responsible for all aspects of security.

Responsible for the cleaning of all internal and external areas, ensuring the buildings and external environs are kept in a neat and tidy condition, with a specific responsibility for maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.

The Individual

Experience of cleaning and handyperson / basic maintenance duties

Ability to organise and manage own workload.

Aptitude for tidiness

Ability to prioritise tasks / actions

Attention to detail

Ability to follow routines

Capable of working unsupervised

Active listening and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with members of the public and staff.

Ability to lift and carry reasonable weight, move equipment in conjunction with moving and handling regulations.

Ability to bend and stretch for wet and dry cleaning.

Flexibility to meet the needs and demands of the service.

Temporary Post until 31 March 2026

Starting Salary: £25,396 (pro rata)

£13.20 per hour
