Summary
Job Description
Located within the Chief Executive’s Department, Communications & Strategic Partnerships, you will work with the Digital Media and Design team to create and curate engaging digital content that supports the Council’s communications objectives. You will contribute to the development and delivery of the Council’s Digital and Social Media Strategy, with a particular focus on engaging with our audiences and supporting related initiatives and activities. Key responsibilities will include contributing to the development, design, and implementation of the Council’s Digital and Social Media Strategy with a focus and knowledge of engaging with our audiences, supporting initiatives and activities. You will contribute to content creation, copywriting, editing, proofreading, and uploading to digital channels and directing paid search and social campaign aswell as building and managing brand consistency through digital content. In addition, you will contribute to establishing and maintaining online communities on all relevant platforms by managing and responding to interactions alongside the customer service team aswell as creating periodic reports to optimise platform messaging by analysing user behaviour trends, communications metrics, analysing the performance campaigns.
