Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking an organised, analytical and proactive Data Manager to join our school team. This is a key role supporting the effective use of data across the school, ensuring accurate records, high-quality reporting and strong attendance processes. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of data and attendance using Arbor, our school’s MIS, and will work closely with the Education Welfare Officer to promote excellent attendance.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage all pupil data, assessment information and statutory returns using Arbor.
• Ensure data is accurate, secure and compliant with statutory requirements including GDPR.
• Monitor attendance daily, carrying out first-day absence calls and following up on unexplained absences.
• Work alongside the Education Welfare Officer to address persistent absence and support families.
• Produce reports, analysis, and insights to support senior leaders and teachers.
• Provide staff training and support in the effective use of Arbor.
• Promote high attendance and contribute to safeguarding by identifying patterns of concern.
• Coordinate admissions processes, ensuring all documentation for new and in-year admissions is complete, accurate and filed appropriately.
