Liverpool City Council’s Payroll & Pensions Service delivers a high quality, value for money service for customers in the private and public sector as well as fully managing the administration of the Liverpool City Council corporate payroll. Catering for circa 18,000 employees across the north west, we focus on streamlining and improving our service wherever possible.

With this in mind, we are recruiting an Apprentice Payroll & Pensions Officer to enhance and expand our current team. The role will involve the following:

The role:

Undertaking an 18 month fixed term apprenticeship, ultimately completing a Payroll Administrator Level 3 qualification in a supported working environment
As the Apprentice Payroll and Pensions Officer you'll be supporting the day-to-day work of the Payroll & Pensions Service
in the role of he Apprentice Payroll and Pensions Officer you'll have an understanding and implementing a variety of employment terms and conditions that affect employee pay
You, the he Apprentice Payroll and Pensions Officer will develop knowledge with regards to legislation and regulations in relation to pay and pensions
This role is fixed term for the purpose of an apprenticeship and will end 30th June 2027.
