Summary
1. Supporting the Internal Communications and Engagement Manager to design, develop and implement the internal communications and engagement strategy and action plan focusing on benefits to individuals and the organisation.2. Developing on-going internal communications and engagement plans to embed the NHSBSAs values and narrative in line with the Government Communication Service OASIS model.3. Taking a proactive approach to internal communications, proactively sourcing content from business areas across the organisation and sharing it across a range of channels, digital, face to face and written, including production of written and visual materials.4. Creating an internal communications and engagement community made up of colleagues from across the organisation to share knowledge and embed best practice.5. Supporting and training managers and ambassadors in best practice delivery of the NHSBSA narrative and values - through face-to-face engagement with their teams and colleagues.6. Working with the wider Communications and Marketing team and People team to position the NHSBSA as an employer of choice.7. Working with the wider Communications and Marketing team and colleague networks to ensure our intranet is regularly updated with new and engaging content.8. Building strong and positive relationships with senior colleagues and networks across the NHSBSA.9. Responsible for delivering internal events including colleague awards and roadshows to ensure they run effectively and efficiently to budget. This will involve working with the wider Communications and Marketing team where appropriate.10. Working with business areas to plan and deliver specific internal communications campaigns around health and wellbeing, reward and recognitions, appraisal cycles among others.11. Keeping up to date with best practice in internal communications to identify new and innovative ways to communicate more effectively through use of internal social media and other digital channels.12. Ensuring internal communication messages are consistent with external communication messages and identifying opportunities for messages to be shared externally across all the NHSBSAs platforms.13. Helping to manage the internal communications calendar to ensure delivery of the internal communications and engagement programme on time and that it captures activity across the organisation.14. Working with key stakeholders to deliver colleague surveys and to improve the internal communications and engagement approach across the organisation.
