Summary
Completely care is an established recruitment agency partnering with a respected children’s residential care provider to recruit dedicated Qualified Residential Children’s Support Workers in Barry.
About the Role:
You will support children and young people within residential settings, helping to create a safe, stable, and nurturing environment. You will be working with children who may present challenging behaviours and who may have learning disabilities, physical disabilities, or complex needs. This role requires a calm, resilient, and compassionate approach. Responsibilities include safeguarding, daily living support, behaviour management, personal care where required, record keeping, and effective teamwork with multi-agency professionals.
Requirements:
· A minimum of 6 months UK experience in a residential children’s support role.
· Enhanced DBS or willingness to undertake one.
· A relevant qualification in residential childcare or equivalent.
· Confidence and experience supporting young people with challenging behaviour.
· Reliability, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to improving the lives of young people.
