The Best Connection West Bromwich has a fantastic opportunity for an Injection Moulding Setter to join our clients fantastic manufacturing/distribution centre based within the heart of West Bromwich.
- Pay: £12.30 - £15.00 + premium shift allowance.
- Hours: Monday - Thursday 6pm to 6am.
- Immediate start - Interview & CV is required before starting this role.
You will be working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, please see main duties below.
Daily duties include:
- Set up injection moulding machines to the required standards, ensuring products run efficiently and within specification.
- Operate injection moulding machines, maintaining them in good working order and completing all required documentation to a high standard.
- Maintain strong 5S practices across all machines, work areas and tooling.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, helping to drive enhancements across all aspects of the role.
- Liaise effectively with Tool Maintenance regarding insert changes and tooling condition, ensuring tooling is ready for production by coordinating with the Planning department.
- Work in full compliance with Health & Safety requirements within the injection moulding area.
- Take responsibility for the quality of produced parts and promptly raise any issues with the Quality department.
- Ensure smooth and effective shift handovers and takeovers.
- Adhere to all departmental and company procedures.
- Ensure recycling activities are carried out to the agreed standard.

- Strong experience in setting up and operating crosshead extrusion machinery.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
