Summary

Machine Operative

Ilminster, Somerset | Up to £14.11 per hour | Full time | Alternating weekly shifts | Paid fortnightly | Operating packing line machinery and supporting team coordination.

Introduction

Key Duties

  • Operate and manage packing line machinery efficiently and safely.

  • Meet production targets while maintaining quality, hygiene and safety standards.

  • Lead product changeovers and support team coordination.

  • Train and support new and existing team members.

  • Report performance issues to the Team Leader.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across shifts.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with machinery in a production environment.

  • Strong communication and numeracy skills.

  • Proactive, team-focused attitude.

  • Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious.
