Introduction
I am 70 Year old man living in South Somerset with advanced progressive Multiple Sclerosis and am a Permanent wheelchair user. I enjoy using my computer which has been adapted to enable it to be controlled by my head movement. I use a CPAP machine during the night. I need regular repositioning throughout the night and passive stretches as required to relieve muscle stiffness.
Duties
All aspects of Personal Care
Hoisting between wheelchair, recliner and hospital bed
Administering prescribed medication
Maintaining fluid levels
Monitoring pressure areas, catheter site and skin integrity
Fitting CPAP mask and monitoring air flow
Bowel management by suppositories, enema or peristeen.
Hours - Bank cover-Waking nights 10pm-8am
Rate: £17.00 per hour

A genuine interest in supporting individuals with complex needs
Enhanced DBS check required
Non smoker
Training
Essential training will be provided as required
