Join us as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant
Are you someone who finds joy in helping children feel understood, valued, and confident? Thrive Education is looking for a caring and enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a wonderful Reception-aged child in a friendly, nurturing primary school based in Chipping Campden.
This role begins mornings only, with the opportunity to increase hours as the child settles and as the right person becomes part of their support journey.About the Role
You’ll be working closely with a child who is non-verbal and thrives with gentle, patient support to help them feel secure and included. With an EHCP already in place, you’ll have clear guidance to help you make a real difference in their early learning experience. Communication and Interaction are the main needs of the child so your presence will help them grow, explore, and build confidence day by day.
What You’ll Be DoingOffering warm, consistent 1:1 support to help the child access their learningUsing communication focused strategies to help them express themselves in ways that work for themWorking alongside the class teacher and SENCO to follow the child’s EHCPCreating a calm, reassuring environment built on trustUsing visuals, play, and alternative communication to help the child interact and engageEncouraging social, emotional, and early learning development at a pace that feels right for them
