Summary

Are you an experienced EC&I Engineer looking to transition into the nuclear industry from another regulated sector?

Do you want to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of nuclear specialists, delivering technical and engineering solutions across the entire project lifecycle?

The Opportunity
Due to continued project growth, our client is seeking a Senior EC&I Engineer to take on a role that’s truly out of the ordinary. In this position, you’ll manage the delivery of engineering and technical activities, applying your expertise and domain knowledge across diverse projects.

Your duties and responsibilities will be

- Foster effective collaboration across engineering and other functional teams.
- Interface with customers and the supply chain on design issues; assist with procurement specifications.
- Ensure correct application of procedures, codes, and standards to all engineering activities.
- Contribute to product safety assessments and technical investigations.
- Provide technical interfaces with internal and external stakeholders at a detailed level.
- Deliver technical solutions and documentation, including calculations, reports, specifications, and method statements.
- Review, verify, and approve outputs to maintain quality standards.
- Plan, deliver, and monitor tasks and projects to meet time, cost, and quality requirements.
- Support project managers with planning and control activities.
- Act as Technical Authority or Engineering Lead when authorised.

You will have the following qualifications & experience:

- Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline, with demonstrable experience.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams on varied projects.
- Strong communication skills and experience interfacing with other disciplines.
- Broad technical experience across a range of tasks and project types.
