Summary
In line with recent UK Government updates, please be aware that from 9 April 2025, the minimum salary threshold for Skilled Worker visas, including the Health and Care Visa route, has increased to £25,000 per year.This applies to roles paid in accordance with NHS pay bands, meaning entry-level Band 3 positions no longer meet the criteria for sponsorship.
Are you passionate about male services? Are you looking to develop your career in male’s services in a mental health inpatient setting? A great opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, individual with a caring and friendly attitude, to work as a Health care Support worker (HCSW) on our male acute wards at the Harbour.
The successful post holder will be expected be able to rotate across the specialty areas and be able to work shifts covering 24 hours, seven days a week.

Whilst working on the Mental Health Unit you will be required to:-
Work as an integrated member of the multi-disciplinary team (MDT), working within a rotational shift system to support patients according to their care needs, some of whom may present with problematic or challenging behaviour.
Contribute to, and participate in the on- going support of patients and their carers. Contribute to the protection of patients, from abuse.
Contribute to the health, safety and security of patients and their environment. Obtain, transmit and store information relating to the delivery of a care service.
