Thank you for your interest in The Dukeries Academy (TDA) and Academy Transformation Trust (ATT). Part of our Vision at TDA is to develop ‘Our People’. Being recognised as an exceptional place to work is important to us as we aspire to attract, retain, and develop the very best leaders and staff.

Our Mission at The Dukeries Academy is to transform lives by inspiring excellence and maximising opportunities for all. As a rapidly improving Academy, at the heart of the Ollerton community, we support every student to achieve the qualifications they need to progress confidently to the next stage of learning, training, or employment.

This is not all we do. To complement their qualifications, we also develop the skills and character traits, which will allow our students to become positive change makers in their own and other people’s lives.

At the Dukeries Academy, we live our values. We aspire to act with integrity, are ambitious in our purpose and are resilient in our pursuit of excellence. We are a Disability Confident Employer, at ATT we are passionate about Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and welcome all applications.

Our team of talented staff are friendly and professional, fully committed to the educational, pastoral, and well-being needs of our students. We are looking to appoint a self-motivated and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join our Academy and improve the social, emotional and mental wellbeing of identified vulnerable students in order to increase their academic outcomes. The role will include working with students with special educational needs and also includes working with students who are hard to reach and may have difficulties with attendance.

To succeed, you'll hold a GCSE grade 4/C+ in a range of subjects including English and Maths and have experience of working with the 11-16 age group. You will be joining a dynamic team, who enjoy supporting the Academy and its culture of outstanding success amongst our students.

About Academy Transformation Trust
At ATT we are driven by a simple but profound belief: every child can and should become capable, competent, and confident. Our purpose is to transform lives through education, and our strategy, ATT2030, sets out how we will achieve this for every pupil, every colleague, and every community we serve.

We know that people are at the heart of everything we do. Our trust thrives because of the talent, dedication, and values of our colleagues. If you choose to join us, you will become part of a high-trust, high-accountability organisation where principals are empowered to lead, colleagues are supported to grow, and everyone is united in the moral purpose of education.

In return, you can expect fantastic Professional Development opportunities, a comprehensive employee benefits package including shopping discounts, cycle-to-work and gym schemes, cinema tickets and an employee assistance programme.

As a valued member of our support team, you will use your sphere of influence to play an important part in taking TDA from Good to Great, and we can promise it’ll be an exciting and rewarding journey. Along the way, you will gain the satisfaction of #Transforming Lives in our Academy and across our Trust’s twenty-two schools.

For further information or to arrange a visit please call the academy on 01623 860545.
