Summary

Start Date: January 2026

This is a fixed term contract for two terms in the first instance, subject to pupil numbers.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the appointment of a KS2 teacher (Mixed Y5/6 Class),

The governing body of Walesby C of E Primary school are seeking to appoint a dedicated and experienced Upper Key Stage 2 teacher to join our caring and inclusive primary school. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled practitioner who is passionate about providing high-quality teaching and learning within a nurturing, faith-based environment.

The successful candidate will:

• Demonstrate proven teaching experience in Upper Key Stage 2
• Have experience of leading a subject area within a primary setting
• Be confident in planning for mixed-age classes and adapting learning to meet a range of needs
• Have experience of teaching in Year 6, including preparing pupils for transition and end-of-key-stage assessments
• Be committed to inspiring and motivating pupils to achieve their full potential
• Contribute positively to the wider life and Christian ethos of our small school community
