Summary

Are you passionate about education and eager to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are seeking a confident, energetic, and positive SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with Autism, Speech and Language challenges, and Learning Difficulties in a primary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide dedicated 1:1 support to children on the Autism spectrum.
- Assist the class teacher and support the class as a whole.
- Build strong relationships with parents and caregivers to foster collaboration.
- Care for children during breaks and lunch, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Supervise and encourage children's participation during activities.
- Effectively manage challenging behaviour with a positive approach.
- Serve as a role model, motivating children to reach their full potential.

Requirements:
- Genuine passion for working with children with SEN.
- Experience supporting children with Autism, ADHD, or other SEN needs.
- Enthusiasm for working with young children and helping them succeed.
- Ability to monitor and record a child's progress effectively.
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection.
- A caring, energetic, and can-do attitude.

Preferred Experience:
- 1 year of SEN experience (Autism, ADHD) preferred.
- Degree holders or NVQ/Level 3 Childcare qualifications are encouraged to apply.
- Prior experience as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting is advantageous.
