If you're passionate about structured, high-quality information and understand the operational realities of Facilities Management and engineering, this is an opportunity to make a tangible impact.

As the Data Manager, you will take ownership of data accuracy and workflow alignment across our systems, with a particular focus on the Ostara CMMS platform. You'll be at the centre of cross-functional collaboration, working with asset, engineering, operational, and reporting teams to ensure our data is complete, consistent, and meaningful.

Data Consistency & Governance

  • Ensure consistent and accurate data across all systems, particularly Ostara CMMS, through robust change control and validation processes.
  • Develop and maintain data governance protocols to support operational workflows and reporting.

Asset & Workflow Data Management

  • Collaborate with the Asset Manager and CAD Planner to build and maintain a comprehensive data taxonomy, including location hierarchies and asset classifications.
  • Identify key data points within engineering and FM workflows and ensure appropriate data capture and organisation.

Asset Collection & Validation

  • Lead the use and optimisation of asset collection tools to ensure ongoing validation and completeness of asset data.
  • Support field teams and contractors in capturing accurate asset information during mobilisation and lifecycle updates.

Operational Workflow Mapping

  • Understand and document operational workflows to identify all relevant data collection points.
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure data is embedded into processes and supports performance management.

Central collaboration

  • Collaborate with the Data and MI Centre of Excellence to ensure that we benefit from support and direction and future developments.

Reporting & Insights

  • Support the Business Reporting Analyst and wider team in generating reports and dashboards using Power BI.
  • Provide data-driven insights and problem-solving support to operational teams.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Strong understanding of facilities management and engineering asset data, including familiarity with SFG20 standards.
  • Experience working with CMMS platforms (preferably Ostara) and asset management systems.
  • Proven ability to build and manage data taxonomies and hierarchies.
  • Skilled in data validation, change control, and governance processes.
  • Ability to interpret operational workflows and translate them into structured data requirements.
  • Experience supporting reporting and analytics using tools such as Power BI, SQL, DAX, and Power Query.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and querying structured datasets.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and operational teams.
