Job Summary Outpatient Network is a dynamic clinical insourcing provider partnering with NHS Trusts across the UK to deliver high-quality outpatient, diagnostic, and elective services. We are seeking a skilled Clinical Data and Insights Specialist to enhance our data management capabilities. This role focuses on collecting, processing, and analysing clinical data related to patient information, surgical outcomes, clinical and outpatient activity, and diagnostics. You will ensure data governance and compliance, provide actionable insights to identify future bottlenecks and opportunities, and develop tools such as clinician logbooks and KPI metrics. This position supports our commitment to improving patient pathways, reducing waiting times, and aligning with NHS standards. The successful candidate will play a key role in transforming raw clinical data into meaningful insights, fostering innovation in healthcare delivery. Main Duties of the Job Manage the collection, processing, and secure storage of clinical data, ensuring full compliance with GDPR, CQC regulations, NHS data standards, and governance protocols. Analyse datasets on patient pathways, surgical outcomes, discharge rates, PIFU (Patient Initiated Follow-Up) rates, diagnostics, and other metrics to forecast bottlenecks, highlight benefits, and recommend improvements. Develop creative data presentations, including dashboards, reports, and visualisations, to communicate insights effectively to NHS clients and internal stakeholders. Create and maintain clinician logbooks, business-wide KPI performance metrics, and custom analytics tools to track operational efficiencies. Collaborate with NHS Trusts to provide data-driven support for end-to-end patient management, quality assurance, and service optimisation. Utilise real-time analytics to drive continuous improvement, aligning with initiatives like Getting It Right First Time (GIRFT). Offer technical expertise in data tools, integrating sources and resolving issues to maintain seamless operations.
