Orkney Islands Council is seeking to appoint a Quality Improvement Officer on a permanent basis working with the Education, Communities and Housing Service.

We are looking for an experienced leader who has worked at a senior level in schools to join the Education Service team. This role works across primary and secondary schools and as such, you will work closely with the Service Managers for primary and secondary education as well as the Education Scotland Attainment Advisor.

This post has a clear focus on improving attainment for all children and young people, raising awareness of poverty and the impact on families and supporting schools in their self-evaluation and quality assurance processes.
