Summary
To assess, diagnose and implement evidence-based care programmes independently for a wide range of patients with diabetes. To request, perform and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests to support accurate clinical decision-making. To identify and initiate internal or external referrals for further assessment or treatment where appropriate. To deliver podiatry services across diverse clinical settings, including health centres, community clinics, and acute inpatient and outpatient environments. To provide foot health education to patients, carers, and families, empowering them to manage their condition effectively. To maintain responsibility for clinical equipment and stock levels in line with departmental protocols, ensuring resources are safe and available.
