Summary

Please note for this role you will be required to travel independently around the county meeting strict time deadlines. You will need to hold a full UK driving licence* and have use of a vehicle. To keep the patients at the centre of care, support a holistic approach, and collaborating in decision making. Provide support and education to peers, new staff, non-registered staff, and students. To work to standards set by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and national guidelines. To be professionally and legally accountable for all aspects for your own and delegated work. To be responsible for managing a designated physiotherapy caseload and to organise this efficiently and effectively, about clinical priorities, use of time, clinical skills. To ensure a high standard of clinical care for the patients under your management and those of assistant staff. To undertake a comprehensive, specialist assessment of patients, including those with a complex presentation of physical and mental health conditions, using investigative and analytical skills. To provide advice, teaching and instruction to relatives, carers and other professionals, to promote understanding of the aims of physiotherapy interventions and to ensure a consistent approach to patient care. To provide specialist advice to physiotherapy and other colleagues in the multi-disciplinary team, regarding the management of dysfunctional exercise in eating disorders. To gain valid informed consent and have the ability to work within a legal framework with patients who lack the capacity to consent to treatment and support assistant staff to do likewise.
