Summary
Ashiyana House is a new 2 bed therapeutic children's home located in the heart of Redditch, Worcestershire. We are currently seeking full time Residential Support Workers to join our vibrant and dedicated team in providing care and support to children aged 8-18 with learning disabilities, Autism and behavioural needs. The role involves supporting children in various activities within the home and local community as well as ensuring all aspects of their health and well-being needs are met. As part of the role you may also be require you to carry out personal care in accordance with care plans and risk assessments.
As a therapeutic home we place strong emphasis on creating a environment for children that promotes positive change in emotional regulation and behaviour while building secure attachment and healthy relationships. Therapeutic approaches we use are Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), PACE approach (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, and Empathy) and Sensory Attachment Intervention (SAI).
All support staff will be expected to work at least one sleep-in shift per week. Sleep-in's start at 20:00 and end at 08:00 the following day.
This role is expected to begin in March/April 2026.
