Summary

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Activities Coordinator to join our team at Killelea House Intermediate Care Unit. In this rewarding role, you will help deliver a varied and engaging programme of activities that support the wellbeing, independence, and recovery of our customers.

Killelea House provides intermediate care and rehabilitation services, supporting individuals to regain their independence following a hospital stay, illness or fall. As Activities Coordinator, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary teamincluding Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Nursing and Support Workers to design and deliver group and individual activities tailored to our customers’ needs. You will also help plan fundraising events, publicise activities, and build links with our community partners.

Knowledge and Skills Needed:
We are seeking candidates who are:

  • Passionate about improving lives and promoting wellbeing
  • Creative, organised, and adaptable
  • Able to communicate effectively and empathetically with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Skilled at working both independently and as part of a team
  • Experienced in activity coordination, health, or social care settings (desirable)
  • Confident in using IT and maintaining accurate records

What We’re Looking For:
We want someone who is genuinely committed to service development and passionate about providing the best possible experience for our customers. If you are enthusiastic, focused on enhancing customer wellbeing, and eager to make a difference, we would love to hear from you.

Normal hours of work are:
37 hours per week, with flexibility required to meet service needs, which may include occasional work outside normal hours.
