Crynodeb
To offer advice, support and guidance to both employees and managers at the appropriate level on people matters. You will be a key source of administration, coordination and information for line managers, proactively developing and supporting a positive employee experience for the people that work for us. You will refer and escalate matters to other team members as appropriate.
Your Role
Provide information and administrative support to managers with recruitment, selection and onboarding, creating approaches that positively impact engagement from the start of the employment journey.
Ensure an effective onboarding and settling in process and experience for individuals by providing support, identifying areas for improvement and driving the resolution of any issues alongside managers.
Report on and monitor key recruitment and onboarding metrics, actively working with managers and administrators to improve them.
Manage absences such as maternity, paternity, adoption, shared parental leave and special leave ensuring these processes are followed correctly and processed through payroll whilst guiding and supporting employees and managers through the process.
Support managers through the flexible working procedure, ensuring requests are dealt with in line with the policy, needs of the business and legislation.
Providing administration support to the HR Team on all people related matters. Ensuring the HR inbox emails are responded to in a timely manner, along with all other administration duties.
Support the accurate processing of payroll and pensions, support employees and managers with payroll queries and their resolution.
Work in conjunction with other members of the People Team to make suggestions for the improvement of services.
Deal with HR queries from managers and employees and support the People Administrator, where required.
Ensure that DBS checks and renewals are carried out for all employees in line with our policy. Support employees to complete their application including document verification. Conduct and maintain right to work checks
Attend meetings as requested, take accurate minutes and prepare papers as necessary
Maintain accurate records and data on our HR and payroll systems.
Undertake any other duties which are reasonable and as requested by your manager.
