Summary
The Internship Award Nomination Desk manager plays a key role in coordinating, reviewing, and processing all nominations for internship-related awards. This position helps ensure that each step of the nomination process is smooth, fair, and well-organized by maintaining strong communication with students, faculty, supervisors, and award committees. The officer is responsible for keeping accurate records, supporting evaluation procedures, and helping promote excellence in internship experiences across the organization or institution.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the intake, initial screening, and tracking of all internship award nominations.
Communicate clearly with students, supervisors, mentors, and faculty about nomination requirements, timelines, and expectations.
Review all submitted materials to ensure they are accurate, complete, and in line with eligibility guidelines.
Maintain a secure and well-organized database of applications and supporting documents.
Coordinate with award committees by scheduling review meetings and distributing evaluation materials.
Assist in developing selection criteria, scoring rubrics, and evaluation guidelines to support fair decision-making.
Prepare summary reports, shortlists, and documentation for final reviewers and decision-makers.
Support the planning and execution of award ceremonies or recognition events.
Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries regarding internship awards and eligibility.
Ensure confidentiality and compliance with institutional policies throughout the nomination process.
Required Qualifications
Strong organizational and administrative abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to balance multiple deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in academic programs, HR, or student services.
Familiarity with internship processes or award nomination procedures.
