Summary
The Internship Award Nomination Desk Officer is responsible for coordinating, reviewing, and processing nominations for internship-related awards. This role ensures that the nomination process is smooth, fair, and well-organized by communicating with applicants, faculty, supervisors, and award committees. The officer maintains accurate records, supports evaluation procedures, and helps promote internship excellence within the organization or institution.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the intake, screening, and tracking of all internship award nominations.
Communicate with students, supervisors, mentors, and faculty regarding nomination requirements and deadlines.
Review submitted documents for accuracy and completeness.
Maintain a secure database of applications and nomination materials.
Coordinate with award committees to schedule review meetings and distribute evaluation materials.
Assist in developing selection criteria, scoring rubrics, and evaluation guidelines.
Prepare summary reports, shortlists, and documentation for final decision-makers.
Support event planning for award ceremonies or recognition activities.
Respond professionally to inquiries related to internship awards and eligibility.
Ensure compliance with institutional policies and maintain confidentiality.
