Join Falkirk Justice Services as a Social Work Assistant

We are currently seeking an experienced, motivated, and ambitious Social Work Assistant to join our Assessment and Case Management Team. This is a full-time, permanent post offering a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful change in the lives of individuals involved in the justice system.

About the Role

As a Social Work Assistant, you will work closely with justice social workers and partner agencies to deliver tailored interventions and support to individuals subject to community sentences and post-release licence supervision. You’ll play a key role in helping clients make positive changes and reduce offending behaviour.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working collaboratively within a team.
  • Ideally has worked with adults and young people involved in the criminal justice system.
  • Understands the complex factors influencing offending behaviour.
  • Is competent in the use of IT and Microsoft
  • Has well established written and verbal communication skills
