Job Title: Support worker/Personal Assistant

About me:
I am a young boy under the age of 10 who has autism and ADHD. I am mostly non-verbal and use gestures to communicate. I am looking for a friendly, caring, reliable person who will take me out into the community and help me to broaden my social activities, with some care at home if the weather isn’t good. I enjoy car rides, cafes, walking, parks, swimming and going to the beach.

Can follow instructions and will establish a professional standard of care, to be always maintained.
Will not use their personal mobile phone at work unless in an emergency.
Is trustworthy, kind, punctual and reliable.
Is patient and supportive with good listening skills and an ability to provide non-judgmental emotional support.
Maintains confidentiality and respects the privacy of the family, including the prohibited use of social media in relation to the job role.
Can work flexibly, adapting to the variable requirements of this role as required.
Must be a car driver and have a UK clean license.
Task and duties, to include any or all the following:
The young person can use the bathroom but may need assistance with cleaning themselves, flushing and ensuring hands are washed.
Any other duties not mentioned but that fall within the scope of this role should be discussed and then mutually agreed.
Undertake any further training, as mutually agreed.
The role is dependent upon a DBS and 2 references.
