Summary
To be a visible leader, ensuring a physical presence, providing professional nurse leadership and demonstrating through personal behaviours the core values UHCW NHS Trust. Ensuring a professional appearance, maintaining professional standards, and leading by example. To visit and be present on wards and departments within areas of responsibility daily and to be accessible to staff via face to face or other forms of communication, ensuring time is provided to staff to discuss concerns, inequalities or clinical issues that may affect clinical effectiveness. To act as an expert resource, providing advice on nursing issues in relation to policies, protocols, service delivery and the adoption of the organisations aims. To ensure inclusive leadership, advancing equality and tackling inequalities that could thwart opportunities for all. Lead the team, embedding local and national standards in order to ensure the delivery of safe, high quality, effective and compassionate care by collaboratively working and overseeing clinical staff and the wider MDT. Responsible for maintaining standards of cleanliness as per National Cleaning Standards and acting to influence the reduction of hospital acquired infections For further details, please see the attached job description.
