Summary

Exam Invigilator

We are seeking confident, reliable, and punctual Exam Invigilators to join our experienced team of invigilators at The Chalk Hills Academy. Examinations are a crucial element of school life, and we want to ensure that our students have the most efficient and effective experience possible. Therefore, we are looking to recruit Exam Invigilators on a casual basis who will be instrumental in supporting this aim.

The Successful Candidate will

· Understand and apply detailed written instructions, whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail

· Concentrate and work quickly under pressure, for several hours at a time

· Be able to give clear and concise guidance

· Maintain Confidentiality

· Use initiative in response to unexpected situations

· Be aware and committed to equal opportunities and diversity

· Keep up to date with relevant regulations & procedures

· Be able to exercise good judgement

· Have basic literacy and numeracy skills

· Be able to address health, safety or welfare issues

· Be able to work effectively as part of a team

· Be able to work flexibly, by agreed hours on a casual basis

· Exude confidence and authority

· Be suitably dressed and conduct themselves in a manner appropriate to an examination environment



Job Specifics

Start date: TBC

Salary: National Minimum Wage £12.21 per hour

Job Role: Casual contract, hours of work managed by arranging directly with you and agreeing your daily schedule for the internal and external exam seasons.
