Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

EMIS Web
AccuRx
Docman
We have successfully embedded online consultations and care navigation to enhance patient access and experience.
The Role
We are seeking a welcoming, reliable, and patient focused Receptionist to join our front of house team for three afternoon shifts per week:
Working Hours:
Wednesday PM
Thursday PM
Friday PM
You will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors supporting face to face, telephone and online enquiries, and working collaboratively with our administrative and clinical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Acting as the first point of contact for patient enquiries
Managing telephone calls and booking appointments
Supporting online consultations and care navigation pathways
Processing registrations, prescriptions and incoming documentation
Providing compassionate, professional support to patients and carers
Completing administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the practice
Essential Requirements:
Minimum 1 year customer service experience (any sector)
Friendly, approachable manner with excellent communication skills
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask
Confidence using IT systems and learning new software
Team player with a positive, supportive attitude
Desirable Requirements:
Experience using EMIS Web
Experience using Docman
Experience using MS Office applications, particularly Outlook
Previous experience in a GP practice or healthcare admin environment
