Summary

Job Description

West Dunbartonshire Concil are seeking to recruit a dedicated Social Worker to join our Adult Services Social Work Team. Community Health and Care Services within West Dunbartonshire HSCP offers a service to adults and their carers through a single point of entry to access multi-disciplinary services to maximise their health and promote independence through a co-ordinated approach by all disciplines. This service is fully integrated and there is a strong committment to working in a multi-diciplinary way to provide holistic assessment and support to the residents of West Dunbartonshire.

Please note that Adult Social Work Services are currently under review. While this may result in some changes to the role, no significant alterations are anticipated.

Requirements

This post is considered a Regulated Role with Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2020 and as such membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Further details of this scheme can be found here.

Preferred applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council.
