Summary

Our client, a leading childcare provider in London, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full Time 3rd In Charge - Toddler Room Leader to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the toddler room and ensuring the highest quality of care and education for children aged between 18 months and 3 years.

As a 3rd In Charge - Toddler Room Leader, you will work closely with the Room Leader and Deputy Room Leader to create a stimulating and nurturing environment that promotes the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of the children in your care. You will be responsible for planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, maintaining accurate records, and communicating effectively with parents and colleagues.

Our client offers a competitive salary package, with benefits including:
- Salary of £14.00 per hour, which equates to £26,208 per annum for a 36-hour week or £29,120 per annum for a 40-hour week

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Early Years and a proven track record of working with toddlers in a childcare setting. You should be passionate about fostering a love for learning, have excellent communication skills, and be able to work effectively as part of a team.

Our client understands the importance of work-life balance and offers flexible working hours to suit your needs. You can choose from the following options:
- 32 hours over 4 days, with shifts from 8:00 to 5:00 or 9:00 to 6:00
- 36 hours over 4 days, with shifts from 8:00 to 6:00
- 40 hours over 5 days, with shifts from 8:00 to 5:00 or 9:00 to 6:00

In addition to your core responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the overall success of the nursery by participating in staff meetings, parent evenings, and other events. You will also be expected to keep your knowledge and skills up to date through regular training and professional development opportunities provided by our client.

- Support the Room Leader and Deputy Room Leader in the day-to-day running of the toddler room

- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, development, and daily routines
- Communicate effectively with parents, providing regular updates and feedback on their child's development
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, following safeguarding and health and safety procedures
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Early Years
- Experience working with toddlers in a childcare setting
