Summary
Key Responsibilities:
Lead a team of 5 practitioners in the Baby Room.
Act as a key person to a small group of babies (3–24 months) and build positive relationships with their families.
Monitor babies’ progress and ensure developmental milestones are met.
Plan and deliver engaging activities to support learning and development.
Support babies in becoming more independent and prepare them for transition into the Toddler Room (24–36 months).
Promote the health, wellbeing, and safety of all children.
Ensure safeguarding procedures are strictly followed.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents and colleagues.
Report on babies’ growth, development, and progress.
Salary: Depends on experience and qualification
Requirements:
Level 3 early years and childcare qualification (Childcare / Early Childhood).
Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a Baby Room in a nursery or early years setting.
Good knowledge of the EYFS framework.
Willingness to develop leadership skills and progress within the nursery.
