Summary
Act as a point of contact for staff from all parts of the organisation that need testing assistance or advice. Work closely with change managers, operational managers and end-users to understand the workflow and expected functionality being developed. Write comprehensive test scripts to fully verify the development system against product specifications and user expectations. Interpret the often-complex testing output to identify defects and functional omissions. Document defects so that the issue can be reliably replicated. Report defects to suppliers/developers so that the issue is understood, and the expected solution is clear.
