The Department of Materials Science & Metallurgy are seeking a part-time receptionist to join our friendly professional services team at their West Cambridge site. https://www.msm.cam.ac.uk

The successful candidate will act as the first point of contact in the department providing a professional and customer-focused reception service and general administrative support for procurement to staff and visitors. Duties include greeting visitors, responding to straightforward queries, photocopying, preparing documents, assisting with meeting arrangements and room bookings.

Part time 12:45pm to 17:15pm (22.5hrs a week)

The successful candidate will posses exceptional organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise a diverse and changing workload. We are looking for someone who has excellent communication skills and can communicate with a wide range of individuals including internal and external parties. The successful candidate will be used to working without supervision in a busy environment whilst maintaining high levels of support.
