ABOUT THE POST

The Audio Visual Technologies Lead is responsible for designing, building and supporting high quality, flexible and fit for purpose Audio Visual services to meet the needs of our educational and professional teams throughout our university estate. This includes management throughout the lifecycle including the provision, operation, secure maintenance, and replenishment of the University’s AV estate.

The role will work with key business stakeholders, our strategic AV partners, and our service management team to ensure that we are able to scope, design, provision and support our estate effectively to meet current and future needs.

The postholder will lead on the development of the University’s strategies and supporting product roadmaps for classroom and other learning space technology, to ensure the effective management of the estate over time to continue to meet the needs of our community. They will advise the University on the best practice models to meet the developing needs of the University community. The role will act as the Technical Service Owner for all Audio Visual and Learning Spaces Technology within the IT Service Catalogue.

Reporting to the Head of Infrastructure & Operations, you will work closely with senior managers across the organisation, fostering a user-centric approach to service design, implementation, support and improvement to ensure that AV and other learning spaces services can deliver excellence in meeting business outcomes
